The one thing that people from all walks of life from all corners of the universe have in common is that we all want to be loved. For those of us who travel, it is often the "r" word (relationships) that inspires us. We're either traveling to seek clarity or take a break from our current situation, to heal a broken heart after a break up, to partake in adventure with our significant other, to reunite with a loved one from the past or for people on the fast track to commitment, to celebrate our honeymoon. In one way, shape or form, we are all on a quest to figure out love. We are no exception to the rule. In late June, 2009 our paths crossed on a bumpy road in the village of Ubud, Bali, Indonesia. Each of us had been dating a version of Mr. Not-Quite-Right and had resorted to our usual comfort zones of the-world-at-large for our answers. As it turns out, both of us happened to live in Oakland, Calif. and had both been taking up temporary roots and projects in all corners of the world as often as possible throughout our adult lives on our quests to figure out men, love and relationships. After going through series of Mr. Not Quite Rights, watching our peers, family members and students go through dating/relationship/love bloopers, we decided it was time to do something. The rest, as they say, is history.

Stay tuned for the confessions column, featuring mistakes and lessons we've learned along the way and a platform for you to share your stories. Post a topic on the discussion forum. Have you been in a relationship forever and you're wondering when, how or if to take it to the next step? How do you negotiate both of your needs and wants, while staying true to yourself? How can you pick up the pieces after your significant other leaves you? Do you know someone who is in an unhealthy or abusive relationship and you're unsure of how to help? There is no topic that is too taboo to put on the table for discussion. And, let's face it, if you want to be in a healthy relationship, you have to be the best "you" that you can be. We'll talk about how to take care or ourselves inside and out, how to wear clothes that represent us and how to continue working towards our own goals, even while pursuing our quest for love. Finally, because we know it's important to be in touch with the world we live in, we'll explore popular culture's take--through films, books and mainstream examples on everything from love and relationships to gender-relations.
